Billing Test System Analyst

REMOTE JOB AVAILABLE AT LABCORP: This job will be responsible for evaluating and analyzing billing system enhancement projects and testing assignments. You will obtain the knowledge and experience required to validate enhancements to identify and measure process impacts, financial implications, and technical applications.

Responsibilities

  • Participate in requirement sessions with business operations and IT team to define and document business requirements.
  • Troubleshoot system issues for resolution.
  • Maintain a log of data tested that displays the number of passes, fails, and defects identified.
  • Determine each type of defect along with severity and frequency.
  • Create and execute User Acceptance test plans that integrates business, functional, and technical components.
  • Conduct end-to-end integration testing and assure software delivered meets requirements and expectations
  • Document test results and review with business end users for approval.
  • Create and present Test Strategies and Test Summaries to management
  • Utilize system tools and resources to conduct data analysis and system validation related to assigned projects.
  • Assist with the preparation of user documentation, perform demos and training for system enhancements
  • Propose recommendations to management which may include compiling, analyzing, and evaluating data.
  • Pro-actively identify potential roadblocks, analyze and propose solutions to management.
  • Collaborate with Business Analyst and Software Developer frequently for requirements and issues clarification.
  • Act as a voice for the business users when vetting issues with IT

To be successful in this role, they would like you to have a degree in computer technology or experience related to financial systems. They also want you to have a basic understanding of billing in the Health Care industry, including HIPAA, have a thorough knowledge of PC systems operation and software, and have intermediate to advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office Products (this is the short list of requirements).

This job pays $45-75K per year.


Medical Claims Intake Coordinator

ENTRY LEVEL WORK FROM HOME HEALTHCARE JOB AT MULTIPLAN: This is a temporary position which is expected to last approximately 4 months, with the possibility of going temp to perm. They will train you and the and during training your work hours will be 8:00 to 4:30 pm CT. After training, you can determine your set schedule anytime between 7:00 am and 5:00 pm CT.

Responsibilities:

  1. Evaluate and research cases, coordinate documentation, research claims for next steps using various systems.
  2. Perform timely data entry of necessary information
  3. Perform adjustments on medical claims
  4. Cross train on additional intake responsibilities and work different processes dependent upon inventory levels
  5. Perform written outreach to customers to obtain necessary details on medical claims
  6. Research appropriate systems to identify data needed to complete cases.
  7. Ensure compliance with HIPAA regulations and requirements.

Pay is $17.00 per hour.


Administrative Aid

REMOTE JOB WITH PARSONS: Parsons is looking for an amazingly talented Administrative Aide to join our team! In this role you will perform various administrative, data collection, data entry, and report writing tasks specific to procurement and supply chain.  

What You’ll Be Doing:

  • Interface with internal and external clients, to include all levels of management.
  • Gathers statistics and general data; may develop new reports or revise existing reports for use within and outside the department. .
  • Assist with training material to include presentations as requested to include maintaining training rosters.
  • Consistent follow-up required with internal customers due to time sensitive nature of reconciliation requirements and deadlines.
  • Assist in preparing audit documentation for supports programs.
  • Working closely with the Procurement Card Administrator on communications to the internal stakeholders and enhancing the programs process.
  • Performs other responsibilities associated with this position as may be appropriate.

What Required Skills You’ll Bring:

  • High School Diploma 5+ years of relevant experience
  • Proficient written and oral communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills are required. 
  • Prior use of Microsoft Office applications (Excel, Word, etc.) required.
  • Prior experience with reconciliation processing or Credit Card purchase programs a plus
  • Must be able to work within a collaborative team environment while also working independently and be responsible for the tasks assigned.

The pay range for this job is $24.18 – $42.31 per hour.
