#1 Deliver Health

They are looking for an E-Filer/Chart Abstractor, however this is a part-time 1099/contract position. In this role, you will perform chart abstractions by manually entering digital images of clinical documentation. You will also review client specific abstraction procedures and be responsible for patient abstraction from the client’s existing EHR system to the client’s new EHR system daily. While doing those duties, you will be responsible for maintaining weekly productivity goals for assigned clients and documenting daily productivity statistics.

Qualifications

  • Minimum of 2 years recent chart abstraction experience
  • Strong computer and data entry skills
  • Minimum of high school diploma/GED certification
  • Background check clearance

They don’t indicate the pay but my experience tells me this type of job pays anywhere from $16.00 – $18.00 per hour. This is just an estimate; you will have to work-out your salary during your interview process.


#2 Cotivity

The Payment Accuracy 1, Data Mining (DM) Specialist is responsible for auditing client data and generating high quality recoverable claims for the benefit of Cotiviti and our clients.  Responsible for conducting or assisting in the identification, validation, and documentation of moderate to more complex audit projects.  Documents relevant facts, information, and conclusions drawn to support the work performed and validate the claim.  Utilizes this information to knowledge share within the audit team.  Displays a high degree of independent judgment and professional skepticism that enhances the work performed in order to achieve success in the position.

Requirements:

  • High School Diploma – Required
  • Bachelor’s degree (Preferred) and/or a minimum of at least (2 – 4) year/s related experience in healthcare.
  • At least 2 – 3 year/s of Cotiviti experience is recommended for individuals seeking their next opportunity internally. (Example: Audit Support positions).
  • Healthcare industry experience, including knowledge of Coordination of Benefits. (Preferred).
  • Computer proficiency including Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, Access)
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Strong interest in working with large data sets and various databases.
  • Ability to work well in an individual and team environment demonstrating self–motivation to deliver success.

Today, they’re hiring an AR Specialist to compile amounts owed to the company by customers or clients, and input figures to the accounting system.

Essential Functions and Tasks

  • Maintain up-to-date billing system and generate and send out invoices.
  • Maintain accounts receivable records to ensure aging is up to date, credits and collections are applied, uncollectible amounts are accounted for, and miscellaneous differences are cleared.
  • Perform daily cash management duties, including the recording of bank deposits, updating and distribution of cash receipt logs, and posting of cash to the accounts receivable sub-ledger.
  • Prepare analytical and ration analyses relevant to A/R so management can gain a better understanding of how collection efforts are progressing.
  • Responds to inquiries from customers or clients and researches and resolves concerns or discrepancies.
  • Support other accounting and finance team members.
  • Compliance and adherence to applicable healthcare and security regulations.
  • Performs special projects and other duties as assigned.

Education and Experience Requirements

In this job, you will work from 8:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m. central time zone. You don’t have to live in that time zone – just translate your local hours to those hours.
